چکیده

It is demonstrated that any realistic model of quintessence should be based on Supergravity since, when the scalar field is on tracks today, Q ≈ m Pl. This improves the agreement between theoretical predictions and the current observations. In particular, a generic property is that ratio ωQ ≡ pQ/ρQ is pushed towards −1. A string-inspired model is proposed where the potential is given by V (Q) = Λ 4+α Q α e κ 2 Q 2. The model predicts ωQ ≈ −0.82, a value less that one sigma from the current likehood value.

Study of a Restricted Modified Gravity on astrophysical and cosmological scales

p { margin-bottom: 0in; direction: rtl; text-align: right; }p.ctl { font-size: 12pt; }a:link { color: rgb(0, 0, 255); } In this paper, we study a restricted modified gravity in which diffeomorphism symmetry is broken. We investigate the astrophysical implications of the model by using the corresponding gravitational potential. By using the weight function of the weak lensing , for the model,...

Cosmological constant and soft terms in supergravity.

Some of the soft SUSY breaking parameters in hidden sector supergravity model depend on the expectation value of the hidden sector scalar potential, 〈Vh〉, whose tree level value is equal to the tree level cosmological constant. The current practice of calculating soft parameters assumes that 〈Vh〉 = 0. Quantum correction to the cosmological constant can differ from the correction to 〈Vh〉 by an a...

Supergravity, M theory and Cosmology

We discuss some recent attempts to reconcile cosmology with supergravity and M/string theory. First of all, we point out that in extended supergravities the scalar masses are quantized in terms of the cosmological constant in de Sitter vacua: the eigenvalues of the Casimir operator 3m/Λ take integer values. For the current value of the cosmological constant extended supergravities predict ultra...

Cosmological Supergravity from a Massive Superparticle and Super Cosmological Black Holes

We describe in superspace a classical theory of two dimensional (1, 1) dilaton supergravity with a cosmological constant, both with and without coupling to a massive superparticle. We give general exact non-trivial superspace solutions for the compensator superfield that describes the supergravity in both cases. We then use these compensator solutions to construct models of two-dimensional supe...
